Via Alpina day 5 to Planplatten (gondola to Meiringen) 🌧️
Rain from the start & much colder up high. Rue only had a cotton t-shirt under her rain jacket 🥶 made it to the hut for hot food & drinks. We’re taking 4 gondolas to get back down to Meiringen 🚡

The finish at the lake was definitely the highlight. It’s always so gorgeous that we’re almost getting used to it. A shorter distance today, but still felt like plenty. Rue is crushing it & I think we’re both getting stronger.

Tough day! All of the climbing at once & into the snow. Incredibly beautiful! We were lucky to get off of the pass before the rain come. It rained heavy & I got pretty cold. Happy to make it to Engelberg. Super special day!
