In this Collection, we present nine loops in the Hunsrück-Mittelrhein region. Each dream loop has its own unique charm – some are short and picturesque, while others offer extensive day-long excursions. They lead you up and down through a hilly landscape, often with a view of the mighty Rhine.
The premium hiking trail certification guarantees the presence of benches along the route, provides numerous opportunities for encountering nature, and offers breathtaking views.
There’s consistent signage along the routes and the German Hiking Institute awards experience points based on the quality of the dream loops. Many of the highly rated trails with more than 80 points can be found in the Hunsrück-Mittelrhein region. This includes some with 90 points or more, such as the Ehrbachklamm, Baybachklamm, Traumschleife Mittelrhein, or Murscher Eselsche.
